Moments Across Time
Inspired by the warmth and community of a people and the tranquility and vastness of their land, Rehman presents a glimpse into the life and culture of Ladakh. Bounded by the Himalayan and Karkouram Mountains in Northern India, the region’s vast valleys, clear blue skies, and gompas perched precariously on hilltops create a sense of timelessness and wonder. Rehman’s photographs attempt to build understanding between people by documenting the commonality of human experience. “Travel has taught me that in spite of differences between people and cultures, we all share a common bond, an underlying humanity. Photography allows me to capture the emotion of a moment showing how similar we really are.”
